ASD Tutoring in Ipswich (Qld)
Better Basics has experience tutoring children who have an Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis. We have worked with ASD Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 children. One-on-one or paired sessions are offered which are tailored to the specific needs of each student. Lessons can be further tailored to specific interests if required. Usual lessons are 45 minutes or 60 minutes, but shorter 30 minute sessions can be organised for children who are not ready for longer lessons. All children attend an initial functional assessment to determine strengths and needs. At this time the tutor will discuss with parents the practical ways to move forward with tutoring.
